Have you had a lobular diagnosis & would like to attend our first Wellbeing & Writing Workshop during Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

Thanks to National Lottery Community Fund Awards for All funding, we are providing a series of FREE wellbeing workshops aross the UK.

Whether you’ve recently had a lobular diagnosis, you’re going through treatment, or you’re out the other side and dealing with hormone therapy or side effects, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our first workshop.

Our first workshop is in London on Saturday 22 October 2022 and is led by our Josie Lloyd, our Patron and author of The Cancer Ladies Running Club, and two of our Trustees Emma Amos and Elaine Nangle. All three women have had their own lobular breast cancer diagnosis.
This fun and supportive day will include a creative writing element, as well as wellbeing tips and advice from expert acupuncturist, Jo Darling, plus the opportunity to meet and share experiences with other people.

It’s taking place at Maggie’s Barts and is primarily for people from the south east. We’d like to give people the opportunity to get to know others in their local area.

Whilst the workshop is free, we are asking for a £10 refundable deposit to ensure that people commit to attending. This will be returned to you on the day.

A gorgeous vegan lunch will be provided and we can also offer some travel assistance for those who may need it.
To find out more information and to book a place please visit our Eventbrite page .

We will be delivering further workshops across the UK later in the year and in early 2023, so please keep your eyes peeled for those closer to where you live, or sign up to receive further news.
