Dame Martina is the former Group Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust (2022) and was responsible for its six charitable organisations: UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA and International.

She began her career in journalism and has been CEO of ASPIRE and the BBC Children in Need Appeal. Dame Martina has been a Director of Capital City College Group and was a founder of Movement to Work, She is a trustee of several charities and mentors several young people. She also chaired the Social Mobility Commission in 2018-2020.
