Discover the latest Lobular Breast Cancer science and research from this year’s International Invasive Lobular Cancer (ILC) Symposium.

Over 200 clinicians, researchers and patient advocates attended the three day event in Pittsburgh sharing knowledge, understanding and planning for new collaborative initiatives to improve outcomes for anyone with a Lobular Breast Cancer diagnosis.

Volunteer Jacqui Taylor and our Chair Claire Turner represented Lobular Breast Cancer UK at the event, and we were involved in planning the conference alongside Lob Mom researcher Steffi Oesterreich and Adrian Lee at the University of Pittsburgh, Lori Pettiti Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Co-Founder and Patient Advocate, the European Lobular Breast Cancer Consortium and a team of clinicians, researchers and patient advocates from around the globe.

Watch the presentations covering basic science, research into new drugs and treatments and discussions about changing treatments in clinics for patients on the ILC Symposium’s YouTube channel.

Save the date for next year’s Symposium that will be taking place in Leuven, Belgium from Monday 23 – Wednesday 25 September 2024.
