Have you had a lobular diagnosis & would like to learn new ways of supporting your wellbeing?

We’re hosting our second free Lobular Wellbeing Workshop on Saturday 4 March in Manchester from 10.00am until 3.30pm.
Whether you’ve recently had a lobular diagnosis, you’re going through treatment, you’re out the other side and dealing with hormone therapy or side effects, or have had a secondary diagnosis, we’d be delighted to welcome you.

“Great to meet people in person who understand what you are going through. Supportive, informative, safe.”

The workshop is led by Josie Lloyd, our Patron and author of The Cancer Ladies Running Club, yoga teacher and LBCUK volunteer Jacqui Taylor, LBCUK Chair & Founder Claire Turner and LBCUK Founder Ruth Warden. All four women have had their own lobular breast cancer diagnosis.
This fun and supportive day will include the opportunity for you to meet other people who have had a lobular diagnosis and share your experiences; a chance to learn how journaling and writing can help; trying some Breathwork; gaining some tips about different things that have helped people; and finding out how LBCUK can support you too.

It’s taking place at the wonderful People’s History Museum on the edge of Manchester city centre, making it easy to get to by both public transport and car.

Whilst the workshop is free, we are asking for a £10 refundable deposit to ensure that people commit to attending. This will be  returned to you on the day.

A gorgeous lunch will be provided and we can also offer some travel assistance for those who may need it
To find out more information and to book a place please visit our Eventbrite page. If you have any questions about any element of the day please email us at
We will be delivering further workshops across the UK later in the year and in early 2023, so please keep your eyes peeled for those  closer to where you live, or sign up to receive further news.
We owe a big thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for supporting these workshops through their Awards for All grants.
