Following our successful “Walking our Mammaries” five day mountain challenge in Scotland last year, we’re doing a smaller, but as exciting, fundraising challenge this year in the beautiful Peak District.

It’s a walking challenge for anyone who has had a Lobular Breast Cancer diagnosis. We’re keeping it small and intimate with only space for 14. Our walking leaders have also had their own Lobular diagnosis.

mammary mound of Mam Tor.

The distance walked will be just over 15km and we will be climbing up 652m.

We ask you to raise a minimum of £250 to take part in the challenge. An element of this will cover the costs of hiring the hostel and the food (~£60), with the remainder being put to our work at LBCUK.

“It has been a week of amazing challenges. Aches and pains I never thought possible. Such pure joy in being able to acheive this and be out the other side of something really amazing! Get out there, put one foot in front of the other,” Elaine Nangle, Walking our Mammaries participant 2022
