We've got 15 places in the SheUltra

We are proud to have partnered with SheUltra, the world’s largest women-only ultra marathon event! We’ve been offered 15 places to represent the 15% of people diagnosed with Lobular Breast Cancer.

It takes place on Saturday 17 April 2027 and starts and ends in Pwllheli, North Wales.

A truly special event

SheUltra isn’t your ordinary Ultra Marathon. There’s no cut off time and you don’t even have to run. It’s an event for women to get together to take part in a 50km walk  hike, run (or a combination) over the beautiful Pen Llyn.

The SheUltra is all about the power of community, the importance of coming together, supporting each other, having fun and raising money for cancer charities.

Partnering with SheUltra is such a fantastic opportunity for LBCUK. As well as being the largest women-only ultra marathon in the world, it’s one of the most fun, supportive and inspirational events sharing knowledge and information about the impact of all cancers on women.

We’re delighted to be able to bring information and knowledge about Lobular Breast Cancer to all participants and supporters by working with the incredible SheUltra team.

I’m very nervous but excited about taking part…my very first time ever participating in such a challenge, both before and after my Lobular diagnosis

Interim CEO, Lobular Breast Cancer UK

Why join Team LBCUK

The SheUltra is such an uplifting, positive and community-spirited event. We’ll also have a stand on the day where you can come and chat to our trustees and volunteers, who all have experienced a Lobular diagnosis.
